Overview
VerifyDOT is a decision support web based software application company that protects insurance companies, transportation intermediaries, and freight carriers/shippers from cargo loss due to identity theft and fraud. Our proprietary multiple source database assists insurance underwriters and special investigative units (SIU) in obtaining U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) data, augmenting underwriting decision making and SIU investigative leads.
Our goal is to increase freight broker/3PL and underwriting productivity by assembling data in one location from multiple sources. Unlike other systems that overload the user with unnecessary data, VerifyDOT’s proprietary algorithm support system conducts due diligence for the broker, identifying a carrier’s identity, safety, and overall reliability in seconds.
Each “Verify” or “Non-Verify” in our system creates a unique ID, proof to your insurance company and shipper that due diligence was performed with the highest professional standards when placing the load. The results are increased productivity and carrier transparency.
