History
VerifyDOT was established in 2012 to address cargo loss due to fictitious pick-ups (identity theft), advance carrier payment fraud, third party brokering, and uninsured/unsafe carriers in the transportation industry. After working with multiple transportation intermediaries, the need for a more encompassing freight carrier selection method was apparent.
Our product resolves freight carrier identity theft in the brokering process, as well as providing a real time snapshot of the carrier’s contact information, insurance coverage, vehicle inspections, accident history, and more.
